ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Two consultations have been published by the Department for Transport on electric charge point smart technology regulations and the inclusion of electric vehicle charge points in new residential and non-residential buildings.
CARBON EMISSIONS
The Department for Transport is calling for evidence to explore consumer understanding of carbon emissions, with a focus on the role that greater information and voluntary carbon offsetting can play in migrating emissions from ticketed travel across all transport.
WATER CONSERVATION
Defra has published a new consultation on measures that could be introduced to reduce personal use of water. It is also asking for evidence to help set an ambitious but appropriate target for personal water by 2050.
WASTE
A cross-department consultation is seeking evidence to help develop standards, for biodegradable, compostable and bio-based plastics, and an understanding of their environmental impacts.
